Our Mission

Emerald Gardens provides a place where those seeking help to reshape their lives through community and holistic approaches are welcomed. We offer a place where people can make memories that inspire them and others to make changes for the better. Through stewardship with a green initiative we can improve lifestyles for families and communities. By creating a place "Where Memories Today, Inspire Change Tomorrow" we can impact lives of the underserved through a place of belonging and healing. Our 18-acre site has a multifaceted  approach to "placemaking" with target outreach through themed garden designs. 

• “The Meeting Place” project creates a welcoming inclusive outdoor gathering space, fostering community connections and promoting social connection, for community members facing social obstacles.
• "Gardens of Generosity", this project targets food insecurities through food production and education. We offer community plots to grow food for outreach initiatives. 
• "Memory Gardens Orchard", this project will embody the heart and soul of our community members by planting a food forest, "in-loving-memory". With syntropic design we hope to break ground on this project when funding is obtained. All produce will be given in memory of community members and distributed through "The Sharing Basket" program. 
• Many more "Placemaking", social, environmental, and educational initiatives on the docket as funding allows us to utilize our 18 acre and 3 acre sites.
